Who makes these?
Just me. Myself and I. I run Ironwood Studios out of a shop in the Kansas City area. I buy the wood, design the piece, mill the lumber, do the glue-ups, sand both faces, apply the finish, name it, photograph it, and ship it. There is no team. There is no factory. No automagic.
Is this your full-time job?
Ironwood Studios is a passion project and a serious creative practice, not a side hustle with a hard timing requirements. Every piece gets the time it needs and is done when it's done.
